During this course you will learn and practice specific procedures to safely dive in open water when you encounter adverse sea conditions, such as waves and currents. While you learn and practice these procedures, you will have the opportunity to reinforce the skills necessary to maintain safety at all times in this type of dive, such as entering and exiting the water and appropriate behavior while navigating in this type of adverse sea situation.

Description

Perhaps on some occasion when going diving you have found that the sea conditions present waves and currents that make it difficult to practice the activity, and sometimes you have even perceived that you are uncomfortable while you see that other divers handle the same situation without too many problems. If you want to learn how to handle yourself correctly and with some comfort when you dive in places with waves and currents, it is time to enroll in the Diving course in Waves, Tides and Currents. In this course you will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to safely dive in a variety of dynamic open water environments.

Diving Course in Waves, Tides and Currents – SSI Specialty

if you are already Open Water Diver SSI or equivalent of any other international diving agency (PADI, ACUC, ?) you can enroll in our specialty course of Diving in Waves, Tides and Currents. This course combines individual study of teaching material online together with 2 dives in the sea under the supervision of your SSI Instructor. The dives will be made on the same day or on different days (not necessarily consecutive).
