Specialty Course Enriched Air Nitrox Diver
The Enriched Air Diver course is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba course. Why? Because scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more bottom time, especially on repetitive scuba dives.
What will you learn?
You’ll learn why diving with air that has higher oxygen and lower nitrogen content gives you more bottom time. During a practical session using the analyser, and two scuba dives, you will be able to:
Learn how to manage oxygen exposure
Practice analysing oxygen content in your scuba tank.
Set your dive computer for diving with enriched air nitrox
Discover the relevant documentation
How can I start to learn right away?
Once you have completed the purchase process in this page, you will receive the course manual at home. Once you have gone through it and filled the form you will find at the end, contact us at the diving centre to set up the date for your diving practical sessions.
What equipment will you use?
Most modern scuba equipment and dive computers can be used with enriched air, but we will let you know whether your gear meets manufacturer recommendations and local requirements. In any case, scuba tanks must meet oxygen service standards and be dedicated for use with enriched air. You’ll practice using oxygen analysers and special cylinder decals.
What requirements must I fulfil to enrol the Specialty Course Enriched Air Nitrox?
You must be at least PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver who is at least 12 years old.
