Specialty Enriched Air Nitrox. When you make several dives on the same day (e.g. on dive trips or cruises), the duration of the dives should be shortened as the day progresses due to the gradual accumulation of nitrogen in your body, a consequence of the air you breathe when diving. However, this drawback can be avoided. The current diving technology offers you the possibility of prolonging your successive dives in a simple and safe way.
If you are ready to take another step in your training as a recreational diver, developing new skills and knowledge that will allow you to feel more comfortable and safe diving, it is time to sign up for the SSI Enriched Air Nitrox (EANx) course. In this course you will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to dive with a breathable gas mixture other than air. This will allow you to extend bottom times within the No-Decompression Limits in a safe way. With all this, you will be able to enjoy more your diving days in which you make multiple successive dives.
