Do you think you have reached the maximum in your learning as a recreational diver? Are you motivated to progress to the professional level and make diving your way of life? If diving is your passion and you want to make that leap, the next step is to become an SSI Dive Guide!! As an SSI Diving Guide, you will learn to act as a group leader, planning, supervising and directing dives for groups of certified divers; you will be able to guarantee their safety and comfort while you guide them on their dives, ensuring that they enjoy their diving day with you to the full.
SSI Dive Guide Course
If you are already an SSI Stress&Rescue Diver or equivalent of any other international diving agency (PADI, ACUC, …), you have at least 40 registered dives and have also the specialties of Deep Diving, Night Diving and Underwater Navigation, you can enroll in our SSI Dive Guide Course. This course combines individual study of online learning material with 10 days of intensive practice in our Diving Center. Carrying out the internship will give you the opportunity to get to know from the inside how a diving center works internally, which is an essential and very valuable learning on your way to the professional world.
SSI Divemaster Certification
Once you achieve the SSI Dive Guide qualification, all you have to do is complete the SSI Science of Diving specialty course to automatically obtain your SSI Divemaster certification. As a Divemaster you will not only be trained to perform the tasks of a Diving Guide, but you will also be able to help SSI Instructors in teaching tasks, supervising students during the development of the practical sessions of their courses.
