Many of the novice divers who pass through our Center frequently ask how to make a correct and comfortable descent. They themselves soon realize that comfort throughout the immersion<\/a> happens to make a proper start of it.<\/p>

These are some of the GUIDELINES that will help you to execute a correct descent and, in this way, to improve your air consumption during the first moments of the dive, also contributing to provide you with a calm start that you will be able to prolong throughout your dive:<\/p>

  1. Make sure you have the proper ballast. To do this, remember to perform the ?correct ballast test? ?put on all the equipment; enters water deep enough not to stand; With the regulator in your mouth, deflate your vest and keep your lungs full. you should stay floating with the water at eye level. Add or remove ballast to achieve this?<\/li>\n
  2. Begin the descent in a fully upright position, feet first. This position facilitates vertical movement, which is the descent \/ ascent.<\/li>\n
  3. It is recommended to look down while descending, so that you avoid running over other divers. In addition, this way you will prevent your instinct from leading you to keep your lungs full, when you perceive that the water reaches the level of your eyes (it is normal).<\/li>\n
  4. Slightly bend your knees to tuck the fins toward the back of your legs. This will prevent the fins from slowing you down and will also prevent you from flapping instinctively.<\/li>\n
  5. Whenever possible, use the mooring line to help you descend the first 2-3 meters. At this point, the compression of the suit will have reduced its positive buoyancy and you will be able to continue your descent effortlessly.<\/li>\n
  6. Inflate your vest as needed to moderate your rate of descent. Flap slightly if necessary to help you.<\/li>\n
  7. And finally, remember to compensate your ears by performing the Valsalva maneuver at ALL times and FROM THE BEGINNING, starting from the surface. If you can't compensate and you feel pain, go up a little to relieve the pressure and insist on the maneuver.<\/li>\n<\/ol>

    C\u00f3mo realizar un descenso correcto y confortable.<\/h2>

    Muchos de los buceadores noveles que pasan por nuestro Centro, preguntan frecuentemente c\u00f3mo realizar un descenso correcto y confortable. Ellos mismos se dan cuenta muy pronto de que la comodidad durante toda la inmersi\u00f3n<\/a> pasa por realizar un adecuado comienzo de la misma.<\/p>

    Estas son algunas de las PAUTAS que os ayudar\u00e1n a ejecutar un correcto descenso y, de este modo, a mejorar vuestro consumo de aire durante los primeros momentos de la inmersi\u00f3n, contribuyendo tambi\u00e9n a proporcionaros un tranquilo comienzo que podr\u00e9is prolongar durante todo vuestro buceo:<\/p>

    1. Aseg\u00farate de llevar el lastre adecuado. Para ello, recuerda realizar la \u201cprueba del lastre correcto\u201d \u2014ponte todo el equipo; entra en agua suficientemente profunda como para no hacer pie; con el regulador en la boca, deshincha tu chaleco y mant\u00e9n tus pulmones llenos; deber\u00edas quedarte flotando con el agua al nivel de tus ojos. A\u00f1ade o quita lastre para conseguir esto\u2014.<\/li>
    2. Comienza el descenso en posici\u00f3n totalmente vertical, con los pies por delante. Esta posici\u00f3n facilita el desplazamiento vertical, que es el de descenso\/ascenso.<\/li>
    3. Es recomendable mirar hacia abajo mientras desciendes, de modo que evites arrollar a otros buceadores. Adem\u00e1s, as\u00ed evitar\u00e1s que tu instinto te lleve a mantener los pulmones llenos, al percibir que el agua alcanza el nivel de tus ojos (es normal).<\/li>
    4. Flexiona ligeramente tus rodillas para recoger las aletas hacia la parte posterior de tus piernas. De este modo, evitar\u00e1s que las aletas frenen tu desplazamiento hacia abajo y tambi\u00e9n evitar\u00e1s aletear instintivamente.<\/li>
    5. Cuando sea posible, usa el cabo de fondeo para ayudarte a descender los primeros 2 \u00f3 3 metros. En ese momento, la compresi\u00f3n del traje habr\u00e1 reducido su flotabilidad positiva y podr\u00e1s continuar tu descenso sin esfuerzo.<\/li>
    6. Hincha tu chaleco conforme lo necesites para moderar la velocidad de descenso. Aletea ligeramente si es necesario para ayudarte.<\/li>
    7. Y por \u00faltimo, recuerda compensar tus o\u00eddos realizando la maniobra de Valsalva en TODO momento y DESDE EL PRINCIPIO, empezando desde la superficie. Si no consigues compensar y sientes dolor, asciende un poco para aliviar la presi\u00f3n e insiste con la maniobra.<\/li><\/ol>
