During this course you will learn and practice the specific techniques to provide First Aid care to a victim until professional medical assistance arrives. Knowing how to act correctly can make a difference in situations that we can all find ourselves in at some point in our daily lives, not just in diving. These procedures will train you to provide CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), management of a Semiautomatic Defibrillator (DESA) and techniques to carry out the provision of normobaric oxygen for the treatment of symptoms of dysbaric diseases.

Description

Perhaps you have ever thought about what you should do if you find yourself in an emergency situation where there are victims who require medical assistance, for example if you witness a traffic accident or similar. The practice of recreational diving is extremely safe, however it is very useful to have the basic knowledge that would allow you to help a victim until qualified medical assistance arrives. This could help save a life, for which you only need basic training. If you are ready to go one step further in your training as a recreational diver, developing new skills and knowledge in these emergency procedures, it is time to enroll in the React Right SSI Specialty course. In this course you will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to be able to provide First Aid care in diving accidents and also outside this environment.

if you are already Open Water Diver SSI or equivalent from any other international diving agency (PADI, ACUC, ?) you can enroll in our React Right SSI specialty course. This course combines individual study of teaching material online together with a practice session under the supervision of your SSI Instructor.
