During this course you will learn and practice specific procedures for conducting open water dives safely when using underwater propulsion equipment. As you learn and practice these procedures, you will have the opportunity to reinforce the skills necessary to maintain safety on these types of dives at all times, such as entering and exiting the water and proper behavior while operating this specific mechanical propulsion equipment underwater. .

Description

Perhaps on some occasion you have had the opportunity to see divers who drive underwater propellers (?Scooters?) by means of which they can navigate much greater distances than they could reach propelling themselves only with their fins. In addition, surely you have easily understood that using this equipment allows you to save air while navigating effortlessly, even against the current. If you want to learn how to handle yourself correctly when diving with a "scooter", it is time to enroll in the Diving course with Scooter/DPV. In this course you will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to dive safely and comfortably with a scooter or underwater propulsion vehicle (DPV).

Scooter Course / DPV Diving – SSI Specialty

if you are already Open Water Diver SSI or equivalent from any other international diving agency (PADI, ACUC, ?) you can enroll in our Scooter Diving/DPV specialty course. This course combines individual study of teaching material online together with 3 dives in the sea under the supervision of your SSI Instructor. The dives will be made on the same day or on different days (not necessarily consecutive).
